Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane (-/-/-)

Day 2: Vientiane city tour – Himheum Motorcycle Tour to MuangFuang

After breakfast, we explore the charming capital on a city tour. Highlights include Wat Si Saket – the oldest Buddhist monastery temple in the country, the former royal temple of Haw Pha Kaeo, Pha That Luang monument, and the Buddha Park with its incredible array of Hindu and Buddhist sculptures. We also visit the COPE Centre, a charity working with victims of unexploded bombs and mines.  Afternoon rides the bike 175km to Vang Vieng and overnight “your guide will escort you to stop at some of the fish villages”. Enjoy your adventure on a dirt road to MuangFuang overnight.

Day 3: MuangFuang Motorcycle Tour via Muangmap – Paklai to Sayabory

Breakfast is served at a local restaurant then enjoy your off-road adventure from Muangfuang to Muangmap here most different tribes both low land and upland live along the roadside. The surrounding mountains and local rice fields are great spots for photos. Continue on paved road to Paklai and sayabory province overnight.

Day 4: Sayabory Motorcycle Tour to Luang Prabang city tour and KuangSi

After breakfast, travel north to the enchanting Luang Prabang. Stops on the way to visit local villages and landscapes from high points of view. Arrival in Luang Prabang and check-in hotel. At the waterfall enjoy riding to the KuangSi waterfall or hang around the peninsular on the confluence of Mekong and Khan River or visit highlights of Luang Prabang – the fabulous UNESCO Listed former royal capital. Sightseeing includes the ancient temples of Wat Visoun and Wat Aham, the Ock Pop Tok weaving center, and the beautifully ornate former Royal Palace. Meals dinner on your own.

Day 5:  Luang Prabang – Elephant village – elephant riding

This morning, you will be a ride to the Elephant Village, a center with a focus on the protection and rehabilitation of elephants in Laos. Upon arrival, you will meet the camp manager and hear about the work carried out by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers in caring for the elephants. Next, climb aboard an elephant for a jungle walk (around 25mns). Enjoy tea in the Elephant village on the bank of Nam Khan River. 

This afternoon, ferry on the Mekong to BAN CHOMPHET where you start a walk through the forest along the foot of PHOUNANG mountain approximately 1,5 hours through local villages and temples if you wish to stop and speak with local monks to learn about their real-life then it's flexible to keep in touch with them on spot, continue by foot to SAKALINE cave inside are beautiful stalagmite and stalactite including Buddha statues, visit Champhet and Longkhun temples. Ferry back in town.

Day 6 : Luang Prabang Motorcycle Tour to Pakmong – Odomxay

Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy riding along the Mekong River to the northeast of Laos. Stop and visit Ban XANGKHONG, a weaving village, where you can jump into wooden looms with a local expert for practice and experience. You will reach Pak Ou caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. In these 2 caves are displayed hundreds of sacred centuries-old Buddha images which are the object of pilgrimages during the Lao New Year festivities around mid-April. Continue riding up mountainous stop on high viewpoint spectacular views of surrounding mountains and rice-field.

Day 7: Odomxay Motorcycle Tour to MoungLa minority visit – MoungKhua

Breakfast at a local restaurant then ride your motorbike to MoungLa here you start off-road to a local minority of a few different high-land people such as KUMU, AKHA, and Hmong who live on the top of high mountain
The afternoon continues riding along the Nampark river to Moung Khua overnight.

Day 8: Muang Khua Motorbike Tour via Tay Trang Border Gate to Muong Lay (240Km)

This morning, after having breakfast we’ll say goodbye to Muang Khua – Laos to keep heading straight to the Tay Trang border gate of Vietnam. After a few times to complete the paperwork with the Customs, you’ll meet our Vietnamese guide then keep rolling on the road crossing a series of mountains, passes, and areas of busy Black Thai activity. Children walk to school, kids tend buffaloes, women plant rice seedlings and men pull the buffalo. Then we come to the beginning of the very long and steep Pha Din pass where at the top we have vast views of the surrounding mountains, then down the other side on a very steep sealed road. Lunch in Tuan Giao.

Heading out northwest from Tuan Giao the road passes isolated communities of Hmong and Thai people, whose small villages settle on the banks of dark green rivers and the steep slopes of the mountains. Afterward, by a forest stream, the road begins to climb up the high Xa Tong pass. At the top for sunset before dropping sharply into the deep Lai Chau valley. Muong Lay old town was sunk in early 2010 and our new place for overnighting is a new town, which is located on a higher level.

Day 9:  Muong Lay Motorbike Tour to Than Uyen – Lai Chau (160Km)

After breakfast, we will start our easy day along stunning gorges and passing Sin Ho town – the “second Sapa” of the northwest.
Flying far from the well-known and colorful markets of Sapa, Bac Ha, and Can Cau is the bewitching northwest mountainous area of Vietnam with the remote town and market of Sin Ho, the roof of Lai Chau province. Sin Ho town is located on the highest peak of the Sin Ho plateau in Lai Chau province, over 2,000m above sea level, and surrounded by verdant mountain ranges and clouds.

On the way, we will have interesting stops to visit Hmong and Dzao villages before motorbiking down to Than Uyen in Lai Chau, where we spend the night at the hotel.

Day 10: Than Uyen Motorbike Tour to Nghia Lo (160Km)

Today, We’ll keep on motorcycling up & down over some challenging passes with curves and lots of beautiful terraces, high mountains, deep valleys cum peaceful villages of the hill tribes. En route, we can not be missed Mu Cang Chai peak which is known as one of the most beautiful peaks in the North of Vietnam where people tend to get together to enjoy gliding in the fall when the harvesting season comes annually. Surely you’ll love such a scenic place.

Day 11: Nghia Lo Motorbike Tour to Moc Chau in Son La (180Km)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you’ll keep jumping on your iron horses to follow road No 32 to get to Moc Chau. En route, there will be a lot of nice stopovers at terraces, villages & even waterfalls for you to relax & communicate with friendly people.
Lunch will be reserved at a local restaurant
In the afternoon, we’ll get to Moc Chau & after a short break, we’ll keep riding to discover some best highlights of Moc Chau with the Moc Chau farm for milk cows, tea plateau, pike forest, Dai Yet waterfall …

Day 12: Moc Chau Motorbike Tour to Pu Luong Nature Retreat (180Km)

Today, we’ll keep the following road No 43 then 15 to approach Pu Luong Nature Retreat with magnificent mountain ranges, stunning rice terrace fields, scenic rivers and waterfalls, breathtaking mountain passes, and remote traditional villages, Pu Luong is truly a microcosm of Northern Vietnam. En route, we’ll stop by Mai Chau valley to have lunch at a local restaurant before rolling to Pu Luong.
