Day 1: Hanoi- Mai Chau
We will pick you up at 8:00 am in your hotel and ride to Mai Chau, passing through picturesque scenery with beautiful views of the mountain and paddy fields along the way. We will have a stop to visit Tay Phuong Pagoda – famous for its collection of 18 wooden A La Han Statues nice 17th Century.
Lunch en route at Hoa Binh town. HoaBinh Culture is 8,000 years old. Hoa Binh is home to many hill tribes people among which are Muong, Thai and H’mong
We arrive Mai Chau around noon. We visit Mai Chau, a pretty valley with a patchwork quilt of rice paddies and house-on-stilts. The area is also the home to many ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the White Thai .Dinner and accommodation in a house-on-stilts at Lac village of White Thai ethnic
Day 2: Mai Chau – Son La
After breakfast, we leave Mai Chau for Son La to visit Flower H’mong ethnic village of Xa Linh. Lunch at a local restaurant in Moc Chau town followed a visit to fruit and tea plantation. Continue to Son La. Upon arrival at Son La, visit Son La Prison built by French colonists and overnight in Son La
Day 3: SonLa – Dien Bien Phu
Ride to Dien Bien crossing – the most spectacular pass in the north of Vietnam, which is famously named as Pha Din – “The Heaven and the Earth ” as it is said in local language. Have lunch en route at Tuan Giao town. Continue the way to Muong Phang village and proceed to general Vo Nguyen Giap’s underground headquarters at the height of Dien Bien Phu town and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Dien Bien
Day 4: Dien Bien Phu – Tam Duong ( Lai Chau )
After a short stroll through the central market of Dien Bien, visit the A1 Revolutionary Heroes Cemetery, Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory Museum, Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument, General De Castries’ bunker, Old Muong Thanh bridge and Nam Rom River. Proceed to Lai Chau along a bumpy road passing through a series of ethnic villages and pass Kho Mu, Huoi Chan, Muong Lay. Arrive in Lai Chau town. Check in hotel. Overnight here.
Day 5: Lai Chau – Sa Pa
Depart Lai Chau town and travel through beautiful scenery to Sa Pa. You can see down in the valley the everyday lives of Black Thai, White Thai, Xinh Mun, Kho Mu and Dzao minorities people. Continue to Sa Pa, crossing Hoang Lien Son pass – the highest pass in Vietnam at the altitude of 2047m. Arrive in Sa Pa around noon. Check in hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we take a 1.5 hrs trek give you the opportunity to visit traditional houses of Black H’mong hill tribe and admire the beauty of the surroundings and enjoy the hospitality of the H’mong children at Cat Cat village. Dinner and overnight in Sa Pa
Day 6: Sa Pa -Ban Ho (trekking to visit villages)
Breakfast with a local family and then ride via bamboo forests to a village located at the foot of Hoang Lien Son range. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, we get down to the river, cross it and keep going to Su Pan village of 2 minorities – The H’mong and the Red Dzao. Then we get off the road to go down the hill to Ban Ho village. Visit Ban Ho with a Tay family who has a house on stilts. Return and overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 7: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van village
In the morning, we visit a market where Red Dzao, Black H’mong, Dzay and other ethnic minority peoples converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their handmade brocades and embroidery. Drive 10km on the rim of a deep valley occupied by black H’mong, Red Dzao and Dzay minorities for hundreds of years, followed by trekking down the terrace fields to Lao Chai village. We then visit some local houses to discover the cultural life of H’mong people. We then trek to Ta Van village. Have lunch here. Then, visit the so-called Rattan Bridge and the picturesque Muong Hoa River before we take you back to Sa Pa Town to have dinner and overnight
Day 8: Sa Pa – Vu Linh village Yen Bai
8.00amm Return to Yen Bai and transfer to Vu Linh village. More stop on the way. Lunch at Pho Rang town. Then continue to the remote village in Yen Bai, home of Tay people.

Day 9: Thac Ba lake Boat trip
Breakfast. 4 hours boat trip along on the Thac Ba lake and visit minorities villages along the river banks – cruising through many verdant valleys. Lunch at the village and free time in the afternoon to relax or discover the area for yourself. Overnight at Vu Linh village.
Day 10: Vu Linh – Hanoi
After breakfast ride to Hanoi. Some stop on the way. Arrive Hanoi. End tour.
